Cheryl loves her job at Estelle's boutique, but her paycheck keeps getting smaller and smaller with each new shipment. She doesn't see herself as a shopaholic, although her stash in the guestroom closet keeps growing.
Her husband, Troy has been brown bagging his lunch and saving all his overtime earnings for their dream vacation in Hawaii next year. He's not too happy when he accidentally discovers her packages the night before Valentine's Day.
Things get out of hand when he confronts her and before he knows it, he's promised her a spanking!
This is a short story about a couple working through their conflict on the most romantic day of the year. Sparks fly as a loving husband shows his wife that roses aren't the only red thing coming her way.
Here's my snippet from my new book, Pink Valentine
“Let’s be clear here,” her husband replied. “I’m not spanking you because you spent money even though it’s not what we agreed on. I’m going to spank you because you took a swing at me.”
“Wrong again, big boy,” she sassed, giving him another poke with her toe. “You’re not spanking me at all.”
Troy grinned. “We’ll see,” he drawled, “and if you poke me one more time with that shoe you might just get your spanking right here in this diner in front of God and everyone.”
“You lay one hand on me and I’ll divorce you quicker than you can spit,” she warned.
