Stevie: Hi Kelly. Thanks for stopping by today. Can you tell us a little about your new release? Kelly: Thanks for having me, Stevie. Rachel’s Journey is very close to my heart. Like Rachel, I too, have Tourette’s Syndrome. I have tried to portray what it is like to live with this neurological disorder, and while Tourette’s affects everyone differently so each person’s experience is unique, it is my personal experience, how Tourette’s affects me, that is told in Rachel’s Journey. In some ways, Rachel’s Journey is my biography, only fictionalized. Rachel’s circumstances are nothing like my own, but in all the ways that matter, Rachel is me. Stevie: Sounds like you were inspired to write this book, Kelly. Let share the details. Blurb: Rachel was such a loser. Growing up with Tourette's Syndrome has taught her that. Who could possibly want someone who contorted their face in bizarre twitches or snorted at random? Not even Mike, the man who had promised he loved her, had been able to put up with it. She broke up with him when she caught him cheating on her during their great overseas experience, promptly flying back home to hide and lick her wounds. James was the manager for the 850 acre farm she and her brother Simon had inherited. She liked James. He'd always treated her nicely, like an honorary little sister, and she'd had a crush on him forever. Not that she could ever tell him. She wasn't going to set herself up for rejection ever again. But when it seems that someone is out to harm her, can she count on James to come to her rescue? Set in rural New Zealand, this epic romance will thrill you and keep you captivated, enchant you with charming detail and inspire you, as learning to overcome adversity ultimately is Rachel's Journey. Excerpt: Then he rolled over and kissed her. She kissed him back, raw passion lending urgency to the way their lips melded together, and when she opened her mouth slightly he pressed his tongue gently inside, exploring her mouth. Her hand cupped the back of his head, her fingers entwined in his curls, pressing him ever closer to her, deepening the kiss. His hand trailed down her front, inside the buttons of her shirt, while the other hand clasped the base of her neck, where her shoulders met her spine. The kiss was hot, crushing, undeniable passion fulfilling the primal need within them. Electricity coursed through Rachel’s body and she was aware of only one thing: desire. She wanted him, no needed him. With their lips still melded together, James’ searching fingers unbuttoned her shirt and he pushed it down off her shoulders, exposing her breasts scantily clad in a white lace bra that really wasn’t suited for physical work. Breaking apart, James took her hand and led her stumbling inside, where he kicked the door shut behind them. “Take me to bed,” Rachel whispered huskily, hissing as his hand brushed over her still-throbbing bottom. With a grin, James lowered his mouth to hers again, backing her up the hallway towards his bedroom, guiding her with gentle hands on her shoulders as he flicked his tongue in and out of her mouth, tasting her, teasing her, devouring her. Stevie: Wow, sounds like this book has it all, adversity, passion, romance and of course, a little spanking. I'm sure it's going to be a success and I can't wait to read it! Where can we find you, Kelly? Kelly: I can be found all over the web. Check me out here: My blog Google+ Goodreads Stevie: Great, I'll just post your Bio for those readers who want to know a little more about you and the buy links. Thanks so much for sharing your new release with us and stop by anytime. Author Bio: Kelly Dawson loves anything to do with horses, rodeos and cowboys, and loves to get lost in a good book - preferably a rural romance where a strong woman falls in love with a ruggedly-handsome, tough but gentle cowboy, and these are the types of characters who feature in the stories she writes. Only in Kelly’s books, the cowboys are even better because they spank! She lives literally at the bottom of the world in the South Island of New Zealand, with her husband, four kids, a dog and a cat.
