The O'Malleys
Ever wonder what the fuss was about? Or perhaps you've purchased one of these books, only to find out you bought book three instead of book one. It's an easy mistake to make. You see, I never knew they were going to be a series. In the beginning I wanted to write a book. We all say that at some point in our lives, don't we?
"I should write a book."
"I'm going to write a book, as soon as I find the time."
For most of us, that time never arrives, but it did for me in 1991.
My husband was very sick, looking at major surgery. We had five children, both of us worked full-time and suddenly this catastrophe descended on us like a thick dark cloud. We were blindsided. Terrified, I had a very hard time functioning. Consumed with dread, I found I couldn't sleep, no matter how tired I was. Plagued by insomnia, something that periodically waylaid me, I began writing long into the night, often falling into bed for only an hour or two before it was time to get up and go to work. Looking back I often wonder if writing, Changing Her Mind, was responsible for me retaining my sanity.
In any case, he had the surgery and slowly recovered over a period of months. I finished my book and started a sequel, Little White Lies. I liked that story even better and was nearly finished with it when the letter came from the publisher rejecting Changing Her Mind. It was a nice letter, telling me what they liked and what they would change, but by then my life was full speed ahead again. Quietly I packed the two books up in a box and stored them in the attic.
It wasn't until 2012, when I found myself with time on my hands, that I dug them out and decided to try and do something with them. I finished Little White Lies, and by then I was heavily invested and quite in love with The O'Malleys. I kept writing.
O'Malley book followed O'Malley book. I wrote other books in between, but I kept going back to The O'Malleys. Soon there were six of them, with a seventh soon to be released. Every time I thought the story was over I would hear from readers.
"When is the next O'Malley book coming out?"
"I'm wondering when you plan to write Colleen and Noah's story?"
"Are you ever going to write a book about how Sean and Maeve met and married?"
"Aren't the grandchildren old enough to have their own stories?"
I was deeply touched. So many readers loved this family as much as I did.
So, here is the entire series, so far, complete with new, branded covers and book numbers.
Sigh...it's been wonderful. I hope the O'Malleys visit me soon with another tale of romance and humor waiting to be told.

Come fall in love with The O'Malleys! I never craved anyone the way that I did Mason. I wanted him bad. A church wedding? No thanks. Lets go straight to the blazing hot sex. Except Mason has other ideas...which may leave my bottom scorched. Changing Her Mind the book that started it all has been newly edited and revised along with a new cover and look for this beloved series. |

Abby
Never trust your best friend.
After a fun night and too much liquor,
Bridget let me crash in an empty apartment over the pub.
Only problem
She forgot to mention that the owner's brother uses it when he's home from active duty.
I woke up next to a very naked and sexy Navy Seal.
Awkward.
He seems big on rules and discipline.
I’m pretty sure my bottom is at risk.
Bridget
I love Dell, everything about him.
It's my future mother-in-law that is driving me crazy.
With her meddling nature and hijacking our wedding plans,
How can I not act out?
I need Dell to help keep me in line, before I spoil everything with my Irish temper.
She's reckless, carefree, and without abandon. Yes, Abby has a black belt but she's no match against someone like me. Alone at night, her purse open on the counter, I walked into her shop and she didn't even notice. Six minutes passed by. Imagine if I'd been someone there to hurt her. She needs to learn to be smart and aware To protect herself. It's my job to keep her safe But will I be there when she needs saving? |
Sean: Ever since I met her, I knew Maeve was going to be my wife someday. Aye, she’s trouble, there’s no doubt about it, Strutting around town, endangering her reputation. Before I left for university, I warned her: You’re going to be mine, so don’t go getting into any mischief! Maeve: I’ve been in love with Sean for as long as I can remember But why does he have to be so damn bossy and opinionated? Aye, I might have done a few foolish things after he left, but There was no permanent damage. And the way he forced my hand was downright underhanded… When I marry him – if I marry him – I’m going to teach him a thing or two about how to treat women! Author’s Note: This book is a prequel to The O’Malley Series. Many times I’ve been asked for Sean and Maeve’s story. Readers seem to want to know how the parents of Rory, Maggie, Patrick, Colleen, and Bridget met and fell in love many years ago in Ireland. Publisher’s Note: This book contains elements of power exchange and domestic discipline. If these offend you, please do not purchase. |
When Irelynn O’Malley returned to the country of her birth, she only wanted to be left alone to cry and sort out her life. She did not want a bossy young police officer dogging her every step, spouting off his opinions about nearly everything she did. She did not want her cousin Rory hounding her to leave the shelter and go and stay with his parents. And she especially didn’t want her cousin Colleen, the one she’d been closest to as a child, to pry into her reasons for leaving Ireland. Even if Colleen was willing to spill her guts about how she’d managed to catch such a handsome husband, that didn’t mean Irelynn was going to relax her guard. Oh, her story ‘twas interesting, to be sure, but Irelynn’s secrets were much too painful to talk about over Irish coffee and wine. Publisher’s Note: This contemporary romance contains elements of power exchange and domestic discipline. |
