I just love Sue Lyndon stories, so I'm happy to say that book five in the series is now available.

His Sweet Amber continues the sage of Jewel's Gems, the soiled doves of The Red Petticoat Saloon in Culpepper Cove during the Gold Rush.  If you like your romances hot and sweet, you're going to love this one!

About The Red Petticoat Saloon series:
The Red Petticoat Saloon series is a collection of books written by #1 Amazon and USA Today bestselling authors. Each book tells the unique story of a different woman, 'a gem', who comes to the saloon to find a safe haven and discovers they become part of a family. Recurring characters appear in each book to allow readers continuity as they learn about the women who have learned to bend but have not broken under the harshness that life has to offer. It is a series where strong, loving men find not only entertainment at the saloon but the special women who reside under its roof.

HIS SWEET AMBER
Having known nothing but heartbreak and betrayal in Culpepper Cove, Callie Smith seeks refuge at The Red Petticoat Saloon. To the young widow’s utter shock, on her first night working upstairs, former love interest Pastor Lawrence Black bids an ungodly amount of money for an evening with her. After his dominant lovemaking leaves her breathless, he stuns her with a marriage proposal. But how can a soiled dove become a pastor’s wife? Despite her stubborn refusal, he insists she’s now his wife-in-truth and returns night after night, not allowing any other men to touch her.

As time goes on, Callie finds it increasingly difficult to ignore her growing feelings for the stern but kind, handsome widower who issues firm commands in the bedroom and doesn’t hesitate to spank her bare bottom when she disobeys. Truth is, she’d be proud to call Lawrence her husband, but surely her reputation would hinder his calling to become the town pastor. Will he succeed in convincing Callie she’s meant to be his wife?

Excerpt:

“Her name’s Amber,” the man said. “But she isn’t going upstairs yet. She told me perhaps next week, to come see her then. Pretty little thing. Ooooweee. Shy, too. I like me the shy ones.” Spittle flew from his mouth when he gave a bawdy laugh. “They sure blush hard when you first pull your cock out.” He laughed harder.
Rage filled Lawrence, and his stool fell to the floor when he stood up. He grabbed the man by his collar and gave him a harsh shake. “You’ll stay away from her, that’s what you’ll do!”
“Is there a problem here?” asked a tall man who appeared out of nowhere.
“No problem at all, Gabriel. My friend here was just leavin’. Wasn’t you?”
Lawrence took a deep breath and released the man. He didn’t want to do anything foolish to get himself thrown out of The Red Petticoat, because he needed to be able to return whenever he wished. And he wished to return.
Next week. When Callie was taking customers.
Lord, he couldn’t believe she was actually going to start taking customers. He raged inside that she hadn’t offered up that bit of information during their brief conversation, but he suspected if he stalked back to the kitchen and tried to talk some sense into her, the large fellow would physically remove him from the saloon.
As he moved toward the exit, a white hot burst of anger filled him at the thought of another man lying with Callie. She was a genteel lady who’d simply come upon hard times. He felt a connection to her when he gazed into her pretty green eyes too. He ached to draw his fingers through her golden, silken curls, and by God he ached to make her his.
His need for her and his recent discovery that he was indeed ready to take a new wife consumed him. Why had he been stubborn and returned to his cabin the day after their picnic? Why hadn’t he remained in town so he could call upon her again? If he’d stuck around, maybe she would have trusted him enough to confide in him with her troubles, whatever troubles had resulted in her working in a brothel of all places.
He returned to the Bentley Inn, a plan forming in his mind.
Callie would belong to him.
